The museum was closed in Nov
2011 for renovation and restoration of the two
downstairs rooms of the original house. The carpet and
ceiling tile were removed, the walls painted and the floor
resurfaced and sealed. The furniture was moved back the
third week of June 2012 and new displays were being prepared and
set up.

attended KHS but did not graduate from KHS ***
Thank you for you patience and understanding while these
pages of history are being created. With the generous
assistance of the individuals who submitted information and shared
their KHS school annuals and the interior view of the Klemme Post office, the history of
Klemme can be enjoyed now and preserved for future generations.
