- Howard C. Baack
Services for Howard C. Baack, 60, of 341 22nd SW, who died at home Monday,
were held Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mr. Baack, a former Klemme area farmer who moved to a farm near Mason City
in 1953, retired from farming in 1965. He then worked as a salesman for
the Ralston Purina Co. and then became a territory manager for the Carroll
Sales Co.
The Rev. Lavern R. Hanson of Trinity Lutheran Church officiated.
Visitation was at the Major Erickson Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial
Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Alida (Schubert); two daughters, Mrs. Bernard
(Marilyn) Smith, Mission Viejo, Calif., and Mrs. George (Marijane)
Hoffman, Colorado Springs, Colo.; five sons, Gary, Worthington, Minn.;
Harland, Mason City; Howard Jr., Dubuque; Dennis, Greely, Colo., and
Lonnie, Waterloo; two brothers, Dorance, Clear Lake, and Gordon, Mason
City; his mother, Elsie Baack, Mason City, and 18 grandchildren.
