- Caroll D. Bock
Caroll D. Bock, 63, of DeKalb, formerly of Waterman, died Wednesday April
24, 1991, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.
He was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Klemme, Iowa, the son of Phillip H. and Anna
(Lashan) Bock. He married Norma Lee Bird Oct. 7, 1951 in Clear Lake, Iowa.
He had been employed at Barber-Greene for 12 years. He later worked in the
maintenance department at Northern Illinois University for 21 years. He
also was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of Church in DeKalb, and served
in U.S. Army, stationed in Japan.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Stephen Paul (Kathy) of Waterman,
Kirk E. (Marguerite) of Sycamore, Rev. John Edward (Edena) of Springfield,
Mo., and Kevin Philip of DeKalb; three daughters, Linda Carol (Brad)
Estock of Ashton, Karen Diane (Rev. Ivan) Brake of Rapids City, and Wanda
Kaye Bock of Waterman; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Lawrence of
Eddyville, Iowa, and Roger of California, Mo.; and several nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Melissa Anne; and
his brothers, Charles and Willis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home,
with the Rev. W. Michael Massey of Glad Tidings Assembly of Church
officiating. Burial will be at North Clinton Cemetery in Waterman.
Visitation will be held Friday at Anderson Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m.
