- Mrs. Amy Palmby
Funeral services for Mrs. Amy Palmby, 80, of 107 Kentucky St., Monroe, were to
be held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Memorial Methodist Church of Monroe with the
Rev. J. E. Christie and the Rev. Ray Spillers officiating.
Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe.
Mrs. Palmby died at St. Francis Hospital Friday after a short illness.
Survivors include, her husband, Edward Palmby; one son, Kenneth Palmby; one
daughter, Mrs. Lola Mellor, all of Monroe; one brother, Ralph Elder of Klemme,
Iowa; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were to be Manfred Gustafson, Drew Anderson, Woodrow Hawthorn,
Herbert Walker, Frank Serio and Ralph Young.
