- Services for Mrs. William Westberg
Mrs. William (Betty Jean) Westberg, 50, died Sunday, Oct. 24 at a Mason
City Hospital.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct 26 at the United Methodist Church,
Clear Lake, with Reverend Wayne Carolson, officiating. Burial wads in the
Clear Lake Cemetery.
Mrs. Richard Wempen was soloist, Mrs. Harry Mason, organist. James Funeral
Home was in charge of arrangements.
Betty Jean (Etchen) Westberg was born October 26, 1925 at Klemme, Iowa.
Parents were John Etchen and Esther Swanson.
She was married to William Westberg and had lived in the Clear Lake
community for 16 years. She was employed as secretary in the Clear Lake
School System, and was a member of the United Methodist Church, Clear
Lake.
Mrs. Westberg is survived by her husband William, one son, Mark William,
Iowa City, Ia., and one daughter Susan Elizabeth, Ames, Ia., and her
mother, Mrs. Frank (Esther) Miller, Blairstown, Ia.
Pallbearers were Howard Ferris, Allen Rannals, A. C. Buldolfson, Ray
McGowan, Tom Ouverson and James Ahrens.
Usher at the church was Keith Neal.
