Mr. Darrell Boyd Greiman

Ankeny, Iowa

Darrell Greiman, 86, of Ankeny passed away July 19, 2018. Darrell was born to Reuben and Lola (Bergefer) in Garner, Iowa, on May 7, 1932. He graduated from Radcliffe High School. Darrell enjoyed working with anything mechanical. After high school he went to work for May Equipment in Radcliffe.

In August 1954, Darrell married Nadine Harrison and started married life in Nevada, IA. He worked for Reames Equipment as a heavy equipment operator before starting to work for Duesenberg Construction. He was a heavy equipment mechanic with Duesenbergs for over 25 years. He retired in 1996 and started his own business refurbishing Wisconsin engines. He was a member of Local 234 for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nadine; his children, Daly (Ann) of Arkansas, and Cheryl (Hank) Henkenius of Urbandale; granddaughter, Jennifer Greiman and great-grandsons, Cayden & Wyatt; granddaughters Claire and Kate Henkenius; a brother, Cecil; and nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
