- Klemme - August J. Josten, 85, of Klemme, died
Tuesday (July 21, 1998) at the North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Immanuel Reformed
United Church of Christ, in Klemme, with the Rev. Georgia White-Kisslring
officiating. Burial will be in Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Cataldo Funeral
Chapel, Garner.
August Julius Josten was born Aug. 8, 1912 on the home farm near Klemme.
He is survived by his wife, Vergie Josten, of Klemme; four children, LeRoy
Josten of Forest City, LaVurne Josten, of Forest City, LaVohn Josten, of
Amery, Wis., and LeAllyn Josten of Klemme; five grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and three
step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, his parents, and one brother.
