Bess Lindaman, 73, of rural Ackley, Iowa passed away at Ellsworth
Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls, Iowa on January 7, 1992.
She was born the daughter of John and Mary (Kolling) Larson on March 23,
1918 at Garner, Iowa.
She attended and was a graduate of the Klemme High School. She also
attended the University of Iowa and was very active in the Aplington
community. She attended the Aplington Baptist Church of which she was very
active.
Bess was united in marriage to William Lindaman on May 11, 1942.
Survivors include her husband William "Bill" Lindaman of rural Ackley; 2
sons and their wives: David and Gloria Lindaman and Tom and Melissa
Lindaman all of Aplington; 2 grandsons: Brad and Kyle; 2 brothers: Elmer
Larson of Ventura and Jim Larson of Belmond; 3 sisters: Sylvia Early of
Mason City, Lenora Meints of Klemme, and Clara Lauden of Garner; along
with many other family members and friends.
Bess was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Virginia; 2
brothers; Ralph Larson and Harry Larson; and a sister Esther Haupt.
Funeral services were held 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 1992 at the
Aplington Baptist Church with Rev. James Renke officiating. Becky
Ostercamp was organist and Heather Southard pianist. Congregational hymns
were :In Times Like These", "Does Jesus Care", and "Faith Is The Victory".
Interment was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Aplington, Iowa.
Arrangements were by Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home in Ackley.

Iowa Falls.
Survivors include her husband, William "Bill"; two sons, David and Tom, both of
Aplington; two grandsons; two brothers, Elmer Larson of Ventura and Jim Larson
of Belmond; and three sisters, Sylvia Early of Mason City, Lenora Meints of
Klemme and Clara Lauden of Garner.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Aplington Baptist Church, with burial in
Pleasant View Cemetery, both in Aplington.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home, Ackley.
