Reverdy Lou Mace

Reverdy Lou Mace, age 74, passed
away on Friday, December 18, 2009, at Fountain West Health Care Center.
Formerly of Klemme, Iowa, Lou graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City,
Iowa, and taught English at Woodward High School.
Lou later moved to Des Moines where he married and raised his family. Lou was an
avid photographer and University of Iowa Hawkeye
sports fan.
Lou is survived by his wife Lucy Mace of Des Moines; his daughter, Jacqueline
Mace of New York; his daughter, Bonnie Mace of Chicago; his son, Ronald Mace, of
Des Moines; and his sister, Jo Ann Cleven of Omaha, NE.
- Lou was preceded in
death by his parents, Max and Vivian Mace.
Lou donated his body to Des Moines University so that future health care
practitioners may be trained in the structure and function of
the human body.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Christian
Services, 316 E. 6th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309.
A celebration of Lou's life will be held at a later date.
