Dr. Byrnes Missman was a graduate of the University of Iowa Dental
School.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the
Vietnam War. He served in the South Pacific as a naval dental officer for
the 7th Regiment, 1st Marine Division, and remained in active duty until his
retirement in 1973, having served 30 years.
Dr. Missman lived in Worcester
for several years and was a naval dentist at Rutland Veterans Hospital.
