Mr. Ben E. Schaper, 62, 100 Dahlia Drive, Altamonte Springs, died Friday. Born in Iowa, he moved to Altamonte Springs from Southfield, Mich., in 1957. He was masonry contractor and Protestant.

Survivors: wife, Ann L.; son, Michael, Longwood; two grandchildren. Semoran Funeral Home Altamonte Springs.
