- Services held for Lydia Bock, age 76
Funeral services were held for Miss Lydia Marie Bock last Saturday, July
13, from the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ, Klemme, at 3 p.m.
with the Rev. George Behrens, officiating.
Comfort in music was supplied by vocalist; Gwen Behrens, Avis Hagen,
Sharon Josten, Arlene Kaduce; and they were accompanied by Peggy Nuehring
at the organ. The hymns used were; "Goodnight and Good Morning," and "How
Great Thou Art."
Interment was made in the Klemme cemetery. The Johnston Funeral Home was
in charge of arrangements.
The pallbearers were: Albert Etchen, Albert Swanson, Ben Coobs, Harm
Buschman, Dave Schwichtenberg and Edgar Buss.
Miss Bock passed away Wednesday morning, July 10th, at Concord Manor
Nursing Home, of a heart attack. She had been a patient for the past
month.
She was 76 years of age. Baptized February 8, 1892 by the Rev. Freick and
confirmed April 8, 1906, by the Rev. A. Muehlmeier. During her advanced
years she was an ardent member of the regional Auxiliary.
Preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and six brothers. She is
survived by several nieces and nephews.
