- Gladys Buchan
Vista - Gladys H. Buchan, 79, of 3156 Palmcrest Terrace died June 12 at
her home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1900 in Palo Alto County, Iowa, and had lived in
Escondido for four months and in California for 40 years. She was the
owner of the Continental Medical Bureau of Los Angeles before her
retirement.
Surviving are three brothers; and three sisters, including Juanita Dowing
of Vista and Pat Buchan of San Marcos.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. June 14 at the San Marcos
Cemetery. Rev. Carl Atkison, pastor of the First Church of Religious
Science of Vista, will officiate. The Allen Brothers Mortuary is in charge
of arrangements.
