- Stephen H. Day
Hubbard - Stephen H. Day, 89, Rt. 1, Box 203, died Sunday at a Canby
nursing home.
He was born in Iowa and attended Morningside College at Sioux City before
coming to Oregon in 1910.
He lived most of his life on a farm in the Yoder area southeast of Aurora
and served 20 years on the Yoder School Board.
Surviving are widow Esther; sons Donald, West Linn, Milton, Grays River,
Wash.; daughters Opal, Beaverton, Mrs. David Brown, McMinnville, Wilma
Abbott, Toledo, Iola Walch, Molalla; eight grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Everhart-Kent mortuary, Canby,
with interment at Smyrna Cemetery.
