- Lillian G. Bowers
LaPorte City - Services for Lillian G. Bowers, 82, of Colonial Manors,
will be 1 p.m. Monday at First United Presbyterian Church with burial in
West View Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowers died Friday morning (Feb. 13) at Colonel Manors from heart
complications.
She was born March 9, 1904, in Cherokee, daughter of Fred and Cora May
Douch Garrabrant. She married Russell L. Bowers Aug 24, 1943 in Hannibal,
MO.
She was a music teacher for 30 years in many area schools.
Survivors include her husband of LaPorte City.
Friends may call at Huisman Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, where there will be an Eastern Star Service
performed by the Vinton Chapter 90 at 7 p.m. today
