- Mrs. Lyman Hawley of Hayfield died last Saturday.
The funeral was held Tuesday at Hayfield. She was buried in Concord
cemetery. She was a prominent teacher in the county having taught 6 years
at Klemme and 9 years at Hayfield.

- Report comes from Hayfield that Mrs. Hawley died
there at her home Saturday morning. Mrs. Hawley has been in poor health
for some time and was unable to teach this year which was her avocation.
She has been living in Hancock county many years and was a respected
woman, well educated and of a kindly disposition.
