Ruth E. (Bell) Pringnitz-Marchand, 89, of Kanawha passed away on Monday,
April 16, 2018 at the Kanawha Community Home.
Funeral services for Ruth Pringnitz-Marchand will be held on Friday, April
20, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Kanawha United Methodist Church, 402 North Main
Street in Kanawha, with Pastor Mark Heath officiating. Burial will be at
Ell Township Cemetery in Klemme.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on
Friday.
Ruth Erdene Bell was born on January 8, 1929 to Fred and Katherine (Wille)
Bell in Klemme, Iowa.
In 1948, Ruth was united in marriage to Junior “Dutch” Pringnitz. The
couple farmed until moving to town in 1983. Dutch passed away in 1987. In
1997, Ruth was married to Dick Marchand.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Klemme. She enjoyed
gardening, especially growing roses and sweet peas.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Deborah Pringnitz; daughter-in-law
Margaret Pringnitz; grandchildren Jeremy (Donna) Pringnitz, Jody (Greg)
Rottinghaus, Justin (Krista) Pringnitz, and Julie (Jeremy) Brogaard;
great-grandchildren Shayler Pringnitz, Samuel and Charlie Rottinghaus,
Tucker Pringnitz, and Wyatt and Waylon Brogaard; sister Julia Gordon; and
many other family members and friends.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husband Dutch; husband Dick; son
Doyce, and half-brother Frederick Bell.
