Connie Jo Bisom
1938 - 2009
Connie Jo Bisom, 71, of Newton died
Sunday, March 22, 2009, at Careage of Newton.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, March 24 at 1:30 p.m. at the Pence-Reese
Funeral Home.
Connie was born July 3, 1938, in Fort Dodge. She graduated from the Newton
Senior High School in 1958. Connie was married to LaVerne C. Schakel in 1958 and
was later married to Al Graves. Connie had worked for many years as an in home
care giver.
Those left to honor Connie’s memory include her sons, Merlyn Schakel and Chad
Schakel; her daughter, Tammy Wickett; her six grandchildren; her brother, John
L. Bisom; and her sister, Becky Long.
Connie was preceded in death by her
parents and her sister, Shirley Stith.
