Charles Gibbs

1882 - 1948

 

Charles E. Gibbs, 66, Sherburne county farmer for 25 years, died Sunday at Big Lake, Minn. Mr. Gibbs served on the Sherburne county draft board, was a member of Monticello lodge, A.F.&A.M., Monticello, Minn.

Surviving are his wife, Bessie; a daughter, Winifred Sigenshau, Richland, Wash.; a brother, Harry, Klemme, Iowa, and two sisters, Anna and Clarice, both of Klemme.

Masonic services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Monticello Community church, with burial in Omaha, Neb.

Dies In Minnesota

Klemme - Harry Gibbs and son, Asa, attended the funeral of Mr. Gibbs' brother, Charles Gibbs, who died at his home at Big Lake, Minn., of a heart attack.  Funeral services were held at Monticello, Minn.  Mr. Gibbs is a brother of Harry Gibbs, Mrs. F. A. Arnold and Miss Anna Gibbs.
