- Gertrude "Trude" Grosshuesch Cobb Swift
Gertrude "Trude" Grosshuesch Cobb Swift of Rogers, born December 6, 1923,
to Calvin and Alice Kuhlman Grosshuesch, died October 28, 2017.
Trude grew up in Klemme, Iowa. She was a nurse for 25 years following
graduation from Deaconess School of Nursing in Marshalltown, Iowa. She
lived in Rogers for 50 years and was a charter member of First United
Methodist Church.
Trude was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cal, Ozzie and Ed and
2 husbands, Cecil Cobb and Charles Swift. She is survived by her brother
Ruben, step-daughter Cecilie Mattison and granddaughters Lindsey and
Annie.
Memorial service Wednesday, November 1, First United Methodist Church, 307
West Elm, Rogers at 1pm.
