John F. Kaduce

1915 - 1998

 
Klemme - John F. Kaduce, 83, of Klemme, died Tuesday (Nov. 24, 1998) at the Heritage Care Center, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ, Klemme, with Pastor Georgia
White-Kisslring officiating. Interment will be in Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Tenold Funeral Home, Klemme and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

John F. Kaduce Jr., the son of John Frederick and Nellie (Suntken) Kaduce, was born Jan. 1, 1915, at Alexander.

John was baptized on June 1, 1915, at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Klemme and was confirmed there on April 20, 1930.

He attended the Alexander schools. He was united in marriage to Esther Knoke on Nov. 22, 1939. They farmed in the Klemme area and
moved to Lake Mills in the 1950’s, then to Miller, and back to Klemme in 1970. John worked for Deluxe Products in Lake Mills and farmed from 1958 to 1979.

John was a member of the Klemme Lions Club, the Klemme Apartments Board, Klemme City Council, and was an Elder, Deacon and
custodian at the UCC Church for many years. He had been the sexton of the Ell Township Cemetery in Klemme since the late 1970’s.

Surviving are his sons, Carroll Kaduce and his wife, Marcele, of Mason City; Rick Kaduce and his wife, Nancy, of Rockford; Verlyn Kaduce and his wife, Mary, of Garner; and Al Kaduce and his wife, Dawn, of Urbandale; grandchildren, Jill Weetman, Chris Kaduce, Jay Kaduce, David Kaduce, Lindsey Kaduce, Zach Kaduce, Michael Kaduce, and Adam Kaduce; great-granddaughter, Taylor Weetman; brother, Leonard Kaduce and his wife, Arlene, of Klemme, Iowa; brother-in-law, Arthur Knoke and his wife, Doris, of Phoenix; and sister-in-law, Lillian Withers, of Klemme.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther in 1992; three infant children; a brother, Theodore Kaduce; and two sisters, Velma Lau and Della Magarrell.
