Phyllis A. Wilhite

Mason City - Phyllis A. Wilhite, died Saturday (Aug. 7, 2005) at The Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. with Pastor Thomas Healey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Phyllis A. Wilhite Memorial Fund.

Phyllis A. Wilhite was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Klemme, the daughter of Levi and Ester Klotzbach. Phyllis lived in Iowa all of her life. She was a member of the Moose Lodge. She was an avid bowler and bingo player. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Doug Braner, of Orlando, Fla., David Braner, of Polk City, Lonna Knutson, of Thornton, LaVonn Dirks, of Belmond, Lori Jacober, of Wasilla, Alaska, and Jayne Bitker, of Clear Lake; and eight grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Terry Knutson and Dusty Palmer.
