- Schlagel, Joyce A. - age 43, of Griffith, Indiana,
passed away Saturday, January 21, 1984. Survivors: husband, Bob; three
sons, Dustin Schlagel of Louisiana, Doug Schlagel and Peter Schlagel both
at home; her mother, Mable Lassahn of Iowa; two brothers, Terry (Naomi)
Lassahn of Illinois and Gordon (Pam) of Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the First United
Methodist Church of Griffith with Rev. Sam Carlton and Ref. Gene Porter
officiating. Burial, Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to meet
with the family Sunday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home,
9039 Kleinman (2 blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland.
Mrs. Schlagel was a member of the First United Methodist Church of
Griffith.
