Kurt Leach

1965 - 2004

 

Kurt Leach, 39, a resident of Pueblo West, CO, formerly of Charles City and Garner, died Tuesday, October 12, 2004, at Pueblo West as the result of an automobile accident.

Memorial services for Kurt Leach will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Floyd. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

The family will greet friends at the church an hour prior to the memorial service.

Kurt Oliver Leach was born September 18, 1965, at Charles City, the son of Larry and Melodee (Sigler) Leach. He graduated from Garner High School in 1984. Kurt then worked for Prichard Motors and Stellar Industries in Garner before moving to Colorado. On August 28, 1998, Kurt was united in marriage to Irena Malinovsky. At the time of his death, Kurt was the proprietor of Hunters Cove Sporting Goods in Pueblo West. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. Kurt had many small and large game animals mounted in his sports shop. Kurt's two sons we always very special to him and he looked forward to spending time with them.

Living family members include his wife, Irena Leach of Pueblo West, CO; two sons, Hunter and Brendon both at home; his mother, Melodee (J.D.) Miller of Forney, TX; his father, Larry (Karen) Leach of Pueblo West, CO; maternal grandparents, Lavern and Joyce Sigler of Floyd; two brothers, Dean White of Aurora, CO, and Aaron (Nichole) White of Ankeny; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leland and Florene Leach.

The Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, is in charge of arrangements.
