Cecil H. Leitzinger

1923 - 2005

 

Cecil H. Leitzinger, 81, was born July 14, 1923 in Klemme, Iowa. A retired printer and craftsman he was a veteran of World War II, a cowboy and artist.

Cecil left this earth on April 28, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. Tuesday at Southtown Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

He is survived by his wife, Julia; his children, Linda Hansmeir, Veronica (George) Douglass; his step-children, Sandra (Daniel) Cottrell,
Deborah (Rick) Harper, Douglas Farris, Scott (Kathy) Farris, 13 grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; his brother, Michael (Annette) Kendall; his sisters, Mavis (Frank) Ketterer and Dixie (Tom) Dudley.

Cecil was preceded in death by his father and mother; his brother, William Leitzinger; sister Donna Lewis; and son, Steven Leitzinger.
