Memorial Service: 11 A.M., Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the First Lutheran Church in Newton. 
 
Visitation: The family will greet friends from 5-7 P.M., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the funeral home.

Those left to honor Corrine’s memory are her 5 children, Susan Fairchild (David Lee) of Des Moines, Max Dolder (Janice Reeves) of Tampa, FL, Lynette Dolder of Cedar Rapids, Cindy Hale of Reno, NV, and Kip (Dru) Dolder of Des Moines; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother; and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle "Bud" in 1998; and son-in-law, John Hale.

Corrine was the owner of Lad and Lassie pre-school in Newton for 30 years.

Corrine was an active member of the First Lutheran Church for 50 years. She was also a member of the PTA, Lady Elks, American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), Peck Daycare Board of Directors, Head Start Council, and the YMCA where she enjoyed water exercise and swimming.

She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She also liked to do crafts, paint, and spend time with family and friends.

Memorials in Corrine's name or to the First Lutheran Church may be left at the funeral home or the church the morning of the service.

Corrine E. Dolder, 85, died on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at the First Lutheran Church. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at the Wallace Family Funeral Home.

Memorials in Corrine’s name or to the First Lutheran Church may be left at the funeral home or the church the morning of the service.
