Mark Lester Neuberger

1947 - 1975

 

Services held for Mark Neuberger, 27

Funeral services for Mark Lester Neuberger, 27, Mason City, were held Wednesday at the Klemme United Methodist Church. Mr. Neuberger died as a result of an automobile accident Saturday evening on the east edge of Clear Lake. Burial was in the Klemme Cemetery.

Mr. Neuberger was born Sept. 26, 1947 in Garner. He was the son of Lester and Frances (Schulz) Neuberger. He was graduated from Klemme High School in 1965. He farmed with his parents and was married to Sinva Fatland Sept. 1, 1968 at Klemme.

The couple lived on the farm until 1971 when they moved to Mason City where Mark had worked for the Armour Company for six years.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Kari, two years of age and one son Kyle born two weeks ago. Also surviving are his parents, a sister Claudia and a brother Franklin, both of Minneapolis and his maternal grandfather, Frank Schulz, Klemme.

He was a member of the Klemme United Methodist Church and was active in Local Union P-38, Mason City. The family resided at 1312 N. President, Mason City.

The Rev. Donald Campbell officiated at the services. Organist was Mrs. Noel Katter; soloist Torger Froiland. Pallbearers were Donald Neuberger, Jr., Roger Neuberger, Robert Christiansen, Valere Nelson, Glen Schulz and Robert Hanneman.

The ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
