Former Hancock County resident, Bonita Ruppert, 68, of Northwood, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000 in Becker, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1 p.m. at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home of Northwood. Intern pastor, Lynn Frank, will officiate.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood.

Bonita (Rapp) Ruppert was born in Hancock County on Dec. 13, 1931. She was the daughter of John and Karin (Lynd) Rapp. She received her education in Klemme. She married Francis Ruppert on Jan. 15, 1949.

Survivors include her husband, Francis Ruppert of Northwood; three sons, Merle Ruppert and his wife, Chris, of Northwood; Tony Ruppert and his wife, Candie of Sommersville, S.C.; Kenneth Ruppert and his wife, Kathy, of Fayetteville, N.C.: four daughters, Pamela Neimeyer of East Helena, Mont.; Carolyn Johnson and her husband Gary, of Kanawha; Connie Pavelka and her husband, Bob, of Britt; Joan Johnson, and her husband, Joe, of Becker, Minn.; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters. Mildren Hernon and her husband, Jack, of Clear Lake; Alice Rayhons and her husband, Leonard, of Garner; Shirley Netland of Garner; two brothers, Raymond Rapp and his wife, Dorothy of Forest City; Jack Rapp and his wife, Roz, of Caney, Kansas: sisters-in-law Esther Rapp of Garner; Pauline Rapp of Renwick, and Cynthia Rapp of Bronson, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ruppert was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Harold, Dale, Calvin and Milbern Rapp; six sisters, Arlis Gilles, Thelma Price, Elvera Welfing, Mavis Hiscocks, Evelyn Hanson and Wanda Rapp.
