Services for Irene Waddingham, 78, of Creston, who died May 13, 1999, at the Creston Nursing and Rehab Center, were held 2 p.m., Sunday, May 17, at Coen-Beaty Funeral Home, with Rev. Clyde Sparks officiating. Private family services will be held at a later date at Moon Cemetery in Macksburg.

Visitation was a 2 p.m., Sunday, May 17, and family visitation was 7 to 8 p.m. that night.

Irene Waddingham, daughter of John Suckow and Edna Schuldt Suckow, was born February 20, 1921, in Klemme.

September 18, 1941, she married Arnett LeRoy Waddingham in Nashua. They farmed together in the Ventura and Clear Lake area before moving to a farm near Macksburg in 1967.

She was a member of the Macksburg United Methodist Church, Monroe Friendly Circle Club, and Women's Relief Corps.

She is survived by six sons: Tim Waddingham of Macksburg; Michael Waddinghan and wife, Marlene of Lorimor; Richard Waddingham and wife, Mindy of Cromwell; Terry Waddingham and wife, Carla of Peru; Steven Waddingham and wife, Debbie of Macksburg; Kevin Waddingham and wife, Cindy of Macksburg; five daughters: Vicky Blair and husband, Rick of Lorimor; Connie Stonehocker of Earlham; Debra Eyerly and husband, James of Midlothian, VA; one sister, Helen Roths of Klemme, 16 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, and 1 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Kenneth, a brother, Wesley Suckow, one grandson, and one great-grandson.

Irene Waddingham, 78, of Macksburg died May 13, 1999 at Creston Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Waddingham was born Feb. 20, 1921, in Klemme to John and Edna (Schuldt) Suckow. On Sept. 18, 1941, she married Arnett Leroy Waddingham in Nashua. She was a homemaker and sold Avon. She farmed with her husband in the Ventura and Clear Lake area before moving to a farm near Macksburg in 1967. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Macksburg, Monroe Friendly Circle Club and Woman's Relief Corps.

Survivors include six sons, Tim Waddingham, Steven (wife Debbie) Waddingham and Kevin (wife Cindy) Waddingham, all of Macksburg; Michael (wife Marlene) Waddingham of Lorimor, Richard (wife Mindy) Waddingham of Cromwell and Terry (wife Carla) Waddingham of Peru; three daughters, Vicky (husband Rick) Blair of Lorimor, Connie Stonehocker of Earlham and Debra (husband James) Eyerly of Midlothian, Va., a sister, Helen Roths of Klemme; 16 grandchildren; one step-grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
