Duane 'Buck' Trees
Greene - Services for Duane "Buck" Trees, 67, of Greene, will be 10:30 a.m.
Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greene, burial in the church cemetery
with graveside military rites by Tack-Barnett Post 268 of the American
Legion of Greene.
He died of an apparent heart attack Thursday (Aug 25) at Floyd County
Memorial Hospital, Charles City.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys; three sons, Allan, Doug and Bryon, all
of Greene; eight grandchildren; his father, Harlan of Riceville; and a
sister, Dixie Beiner of Waverly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Mae in 1984, and a sister,
Mary Lynn Schaefer in 1978.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Reid's Funeral Chapel,
Greene, where a Scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
