Death Saddens Community

The community was saddened to hear of the sudden death of Donald Turgasen, of Independence Saturday evening. There will be services for him at the funeral home in Klemme on Tuesday.

He was 65 years old and leaves a wife, Marie Stille and two sons and a grandson, a brother Vernon of Crete, Ill and his mother, Sadie Turgasen of Prairie View.  He is a nephew of Clarence and Fred Kluckhohn.

Donald O. Turgason, 65, of Independence, died Saturday, Nov. 1, at Peoples Memorial Hospital.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home in Klemme, Iowa, with the Rev. Donald Campbell of Klemme officiating.

 

Interment will be in Klemme Cemetery. Mason-Hawe Funeral Home in Independence is in charge of arrangements.

Independence - Services for Donald O. Turgason, 65, who died Saturday at Peoples Memorial Hospital, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Andrew Funeral Home in Klemme, burial in the Klemme Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; two sons, John of City and Brian of Independence; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Turgason of Garner; a brother, Vernon of Crete, Ill.

Friends may call at the Mason-Hawe Funeral Home in Independence after 7 p.m. Monday and then 10 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the funeral home in Klemme.
