Eugene W. Wilkinson Jr.
1937 - 1991
- Eugene W. Wilkinson Jr., 54 of 622 S. Indiana Ave.,
died Monday (Nov 25, 1991) at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Hogan-Bremer Colonial
Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Brasel officiating. Burial will be in
Elmwood- St Josephs Cemetery, where a flag folding ceremony will be
conducted by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.
Visitation will begin after 6 pm Thursday at the funeral chapel.
Mr Wilkinson was born Oct. 16, 1937, at Mason City, a son of Eugene and
Kittie (Holland) Wilkinson. He married Carolyn J. Siesseger Oct 16, 1964,
in Mason City.
He attended Mason City schools and graduated from Klemme High School.
Later he served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. Following his
discharge he returned to Mason City, and was employed at Al & Dick's
Wrecker Service, Plagge Truck Lines and presently, Skarlis Olds Honda, Of
Mason City.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Wilkinson, Mason City two daughters,
Kim Young and her husband, Randy, Clear Lake; Linda Moyer and her husband,
David, Winona, Minn; one son Bruce Wilkinson and his wife, Cynthia,
Rochelle, Ill; two grandsons, Andrew Young and Matthew Moyer; and three
sister, Josehine Larsen, Manly, and Maxine Ziemann and Aileen Griffith,
both of Mason City.
He was proceeded in death by his parents.
