- Graveside Services for Leo and Leaha Esbeck
Graveside services for the cremated remains of Leo J. and Leaha Esbeck
were conducted Saturday morning in Mount Auburn Cemetery here.
Rev. Jim Shearouse officiated and Jones Mortuary was in charge of
arrangements.
Memorials were made to Alzheimers Disease.
Leo J. Esbeck, 84, of Tempe, Arizona, died April 8 in Tempe.
He was born in Elk Horn, Iowa, a son of Jacob and Laura Esbeck. He married
Leaha Forner.
Mr. Esbeck was in school administration for 40 years. He was
superintendent of Schools in Ventura, Iowa, for 24 of those years.
He was a life member of National Teachers Association and a member of the
Iowa Teachers Association, Shriners and Lions Clubs and a 50 year member
of the Masonic Lodge.
