Paul M. Kramer's services Saturday

Goodell - Paul M. Kramer, 63, died Tuesday, July 4, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., following open heart surgery.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at Belmond. The Rev. Alvin Heuring officiated. Burial was in St. Francis Cemetery at Belmond with Willim-Andrew Funeral Home in charge.

Born April 13, 1909, at Sullivan, Mo., he was the son of William and Elizabeth Viering Kramer. He taught school in Sullivan for a time and was married to Edith Land in Sullivan, Nov. 3, 1928. In March 1936, they moved to the farm northeast of Goodell where they have lived since. He had been a trustee of Avery Township many years.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Betty Anne) Dreyer, Latimer; Mrs. Bob (Pauline) Bettinger, Vinton; two sons, Don, Estherville; Duane, Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Carl, Seattle, Wash.; Otto, Hemet, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Juergens and Mrs. Emma Glaser, both of Sullivan, and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a brother.
