Glenn O. Osman

Glenn O. Osman, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home in Silver Lake, WI, Thursday, February 28, 2002, surrounded by his wife and 9 children.

Glenn was born in Morris, IL, in 1915. He was an avid athlete and he excelled in wrestling.

He married Rosemarie Anderson on July 28, 1951.

Glenn was a Funeral Director for 50 years with funeral homes in Iowa, Racine, WI, and Twin Lakes, WI. He retired from his career in Manitowoc, WI. Glenn also served in WWII, past coroner in Hancock County, Iowa, past commander of VFW post in Racine, WI, past member of Masonic order and past president of the Westosha Lions Club. In 1999 Glenn and his wife relocated to Silver Lake to be closer to their family.

Glenn is survived by his wife Rosemarie; 9 children, Scott (Myda) Osman of Tjunga, CA; Todd (Kate) Osman of Gays Mills, WI; Nancy (Pete) Kollman of Kenosha, WI; Connie (Chuck) Childers of Elkhorn, WI; Tyler (Donna) Osman of Randall, WI; Tim Osman of River Forest, IL; Tom (Susie) Osman of Chicago, IL; Troy (Colleen) Osman of Long Beach, IN and Jennifer (Mike) Cardanali of Kenosha, WI.

Also survived by 9 grandchildren and one sister, Eloise.

Preceded in death by his mother and father, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

A memorial service for Glenn will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 8720 368th Avenue, Twin Lakes, WI. on Saturday, April 13, 2002, at 11:30 A.M.
