Carolyn Alice Rolla

Carolyn Oberg

Friends here have just received word of the death of Mrs. Robert (Carolyn) Obert [sic], 43, St. Paul. Minn., on June 30. The Obergs were on a family outing at the Wisconsin Dells when she became ill and died of heart failure.

Funeral services were held at the Henry Anderson Mortuary, Minneapolis, on July 3 and interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Carolyn Alice Rolla was born at Manly, Iowa on Sept. 17, 1932, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rolla. She married Robert Oberg of Minneapolis on June 12, 1954 in Northfield, Minn.

The Oberg family resided in Eldridge about 10 years. Mr. Oberg was vocal music instructor at North Scott Community Jr.-Sr. High School. The family moved to St. Paul in 1966.

Surviving are her husband, four children: Peter, 13; Kristi, 11; Sonja, 10; and David, 8; and her mother, Mrs. Grace Rolla, Manly.

She was preceded in death by her father.
