Bertha Thormann

1897 - 1968

 

Miss Bertha Thormann, 71, of Dallas, died Dec 6 at the Eden Home where she had been a resident four years. A native of Rockfield, Wis., she was born April 23, 1897, the daughter of Eugene and Emma Landseidel Thormann of Germany. She was a private piano teacher.

Surviving are two sisters, Miss Esther Thormann of New York and Mrs. Ida May Lamphere of New Jersey.

Funeral service was conducted Dec. 9 at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Kuretsch of New Braunfels.

Interment was in Comel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Elmo Fischer, Berhard M. Harst, Richard Moeller, and Paul Holliday.
